Holyoke and Smith Colleges and University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to FCD, she was the DisTIL (Discovery Through Iterative Learning) Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Carolina Performing Arts (CPA) at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she oversaw collaborative, long-term projects between visiting artists, faculty, students, and local community members. At CPA, she founded The Commons, an arts criticism-focused residency program and performance festival for locally based performing artists. Ripp has also produced and curated the Ideas series of lectures, panels, and symposia at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p>Ripp has translated five Chilean plays for professional U.S. tours, and her translation of Trinidad Gonz\u00e1lez&#8217;s <em>La reun\u00edon <\/em>was selected for the 2016 PEN World Voices Festival. Her translations and writing on performance have been published in <em>Theater, PAJ: A Journal of Performing Arts, <\/em>and <em>Theater Journal <\/em>and on Fusebox&#8217;s Written and Spoken platform. She has also been an associate editor of <em>Theater <\/em>magazine.<\/p>\n<p>As a dramaturg, Ripp has worked at both the Yale School of Drama and Yale Repertory Theater, and is currently collaborating with performance group Culture Mill. She holds an MFA and DFA from the Yale School of Drama in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism, where she was a two-time winner of the John W.
