She is Senior Lecturer in Theatre and Performance at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She researches the politics of performance, with interests in migration and documentation. She is Editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/performanceparadigm.net\/index.php\/journal\"><em>Performance Paradigm<\/em><\/a>, Associate Editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.performance-research.org\/\"><em>Performance Research<\/em><\/a>, Guest Editor \u2013 with Emma Cox \u2013 of a special issue on \u201cEnvisioning Asylum \/ Engendering Crisis\u201d for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/toc\/crde20\/23\/2\"><em>Research in Drama Education<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(2018), and an Editorial Board Member of <em>Imagined Theatres<\/em>. She is also editor, with Bryoni Trezise, of <em>Visions and Revisions: Performance, Memory, Trauma<\/em> (Museum Tusculanum Press, 2013) and author of articles in <em>International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media<\/em>,<em> Theatre Research International<\/em>, <em>New Theatre Quarterly<\/em>, and <em>Modern Drama,\u00a0<\/em>among others. Outside the university, Caroline serves as a Board Member for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.psi-web.org\/\">Performance Studies international<\/a> as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pact.net.au\/\">PACT Centre for Emerging Artists<\/a> (Sydney). She is also a long-time theatre reviewer, having worked as a reviewer and online producer for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtime.org.au\/?s=caroline+wake\">RealTime<\/a> arts magazine for over a decade.
